The Teachers Essence.

It is not a craving for the subject

 That carves the teacher within;

 Neither was it the shadow of another’s inspiration,

 Nor the mere adoption of a trade.

It is not the pursuit of sustenance

 That defines the teacher;

 Not the desire to reshape the world

 That summons the teacher forth.

 It is not a claim to moral high ground

 That anchored me to this path;

 Nor the restless hunger for endless knowing

 That binds me to this name.

 It was not the exhaustion of other paths,

 Nor the gravity of fear or worldly pressure

 That dragged my spirit into this field

 To manifest the teacher I have become.

 It is simply the law of these primordial cells:

Every pulse, every breath, every action

 Is the inevitable response to a void—

 For where there is one who must awaken,

 There must be a teacher to meet them.
